    Alinta Earthworx Pty Ltd is committed to the protection of the health, safety and welfare of workers and others when in the workplace and preventing work related injury and ill health of its staff, contractors and visitors within its working environment. Our policy is to ensure that any work carried out within the scope of the business complies with regulatory and legislative requirements and is in compliance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 45001.

    Our objective is to continually improve our service through seeking to observe and listen to our customer’s expectations and understand their needs. This ensures the Quality of our service and our continued performance as an organisation. We have a transparent and highly accountable approach to our Workplace Health and Safety Management System and this Policy and other relevant information are freely available to all personnel, clients and other interested parties upon request.

    Emphasis will be placed on effective management, ensuring a systematic approach to identifying risks using a hierarchy of controls and allocating financial and physical resources to control these risks. To deliver these responsibilities, we undertake to:

    • maintain a safe and healthy place of work by providing plant, equipment and systems of work that reduces risks to people’s health and safety; and to the specific nature of its OH&S risks and OH&S opportunities;

    • providing a framework for setting and reviewing our OH&S objectives and targets;

    • fulfil legal requirements, ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation, regulations, codes of practice and other requirements;

    • eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks;

    • continual improvement of our Integrated Management System;

    • promote OHS awareness within the company and encourage workers to participate in the decision-making processes within our Integrated Management System;

    • consultation and participation of all workers;

    • prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;

    • arrange for the effective planning, Organisation, control, monitoring and review of preventative and protective measures;

    The Management Representative for the Integrated Management System will establish, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System per this manual. AS/NZS ISO 45001 and other applicable regulations, standards and guidance. Implementation of this policy is mandatory. Through the implementation of this policy, we aim to achieve our objective of continually improving our performances as providers of contracting services.
